At Nanya we dedicate our efforts to implementing a full line of green products. To ensure that our green products comply with the RoHS Directive at both device and module level, we demand all of our manufacturing sites to use all lead-free Nanya original IC chips, PCB, electric resistors, capacitors, as well as environmentally safe soldering materials across the SMT lines under controlled temperatures. Enforcing RoHS The RoHS Directive, lead-free legislation, which stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment", aims to restrict the use of six substances which contain more than agreed levels of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants, within electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), thereby contributing to the protection of human health and the environment. This RoHS Directive is in force since 1st July 2006. Environmental Management System
